On Monday, February 4, ECC President Denise Fairchild joins Board partners PolicyLink & SEUI for a discussion on “Equity and the Future of the American Economy” at 8:30 a.m. at the Newseum in Washington, DC. This half-day convening will explore on-the-ground solutions, policy strategies, and movement building needed for an equitable economy.
Other speakers include Angela Glover Blackwell of PolicyLink, Mary Kay Henry of SEIU, Jacob Hacker from Yale University (and author of Prosperity Economics), Ai-Jen Poo of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Benjamin Jealous of the NAACP, and Luz Vega-Marquis of the Marguerite Casey Foundation.
