Through a partnership with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the initiative helps support Hispanic small businesses with five or less employees. The ODP Corporation (parent company to Office Depot and CompuCom) is the initiative’s founding partner.

EIDL Program Launches to Support Small Businesses

Disaster Loan Assistance Available: Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) – Working capital loans to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period.

Elevate Together Cash Grant 

Through a partnership with the National Urban League’s (NUL) Entrepreneurship Centers and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), the initiative helps support Black and Hispanic small businesses with five or less employees.

Elevate Together® directly supports Black and Hispanic small business owners with the mission of helping local economies, fostering job creation, and helping to close the racial wealth gap. 

This grant opportunity is available to members in good standing.

Important dates to remember for Round 1.

April 21 - Application Portal will open

May 12 -  Portal will close

May 15 – 31, Selection committee to select cash grant recipients

June 1, Cash grant recipient's will be notified

 July 31, Grant recipients must complete required 3 mentorship sessions by this date.

Awards will be given out at our A Night In Havana event on August 5, 2023., Grant recipients must complete required 3 mentorship sessions by this date.

Microbusinesses Can Apply Now For Phase 1:

Eligible microbusinesses must have less than $50,000k in annual gross revenue and be in the County of Los Angeles, including the City of LA.

Phase 1 will provide more than 4,000 grants to micro businesses throughout the County of Los Angeles, including the City of Los Angeles that face barriers to access to capital resources.
